世界气象日是世界气象组织于 1960 年为了纪念其成立和《世界气象组织公约》生效日（1950 年 3 月 23 日）而设立的主题日。从 1961 年开始，每年于 3 月 23 日的世界气象日围绕一个主题，在全球进行庆祝活动，向各会员国政府和公众进行气象宣传教育。
世界气象日旨在彰显各国气象和水文部门对社会安全和福祉的重要贡献，世界各地都会举办庆祝活动。世界气象日的主题通常与当前天气、气候或水资源相关的问题密切相关。
2026 年世界气象日的主题是：测今日气象，护明日家园（Observing Today, Protecting Tomorrow）。

Every 23 March, the World Meteorological Organization commemorates the coming into force of the Convention establishing the World Meteorological Organization on 23 March 1950.
It showcases the essential contribution of National Meteorological and Hydrological Services to the safety and wellbeing of society and is celebrated with activities around the world. The themes chosen for World Meteorological Day reflect topical weather, climate or water-related issues.
The theme for World Meteorological Day 2026 is "Observing Today, Protecting Tomorrow."

时间来到 3 月，再过半个月就是一年一度的世界气象日了。近日，世界气象组织在其官网新闻门户上发布了 2026 年世界气象日的宣发网页，网页中刊登了部分宣传文章以及秘书长席列斯特∙绍罗教授的致辞视频，并提供了宣传材料的下载渠道等，各宣传文章与材料都使用联合国六大工作语言（阿、中、英、法、俄、西）进行了写作。

As March arrives, the annual World Meteorological Day is now only half a month away. Recently, the World Meteorological Organization released the promotional webpage for World Meteorological Day 2026 on the news portal of its official website. The page features several promotional articles, a video message from Secretary-General Prof. Celeste Saulo, and downloadable publicity resources—primarily poster images and related visual materials. All articles and materials are presented in the six official working languages of the United Nations (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish).
